To the applause of a 1200-strong audience in the Aalto Theatre in Essen, Martin Leuthold and Michele Rondelli, the two men responsible for Jakob Schlaepfer’s Décor collection, were presented with the awards given in March (qv) in the world’s biggest and most prestigious design competition.
